💔 2019 - Rock Bottom in a Blazer
I didn’t pass probation at a job I thought would change everything.
It didn’t break me, just reminded me of who I really was. So I chose freedom. I became a freelance designer and started building from scratch.
That rejection was the redirection that cracked open my entire power.
🎨 2020 - Design Became My Weapon
I levelled up. My skills sharpened. My confidence grew.
And for the first time, I let myself dream:
Could I create a beauty brand that felt like me?
Cue: NMA LDN was born.
😔 2021–2022 — The Silent Spiral
Burnout. Imposter syndrome. A short break that turned into three years.
I pressed pause to survive. But every time I looked at my own product... I knew I wasn’t done.
The glow was still there. Waiting.
💼 2023 - The Creator Behind the Curtain
I worked as a full-time Creative Director, helping to build brands that weren’t mine.
Every success I brought them reminded me of what I once built, and abandoned. I was growing professionally… but grieving internally.
NMA LDN still lived in me, even if I couldn’t say it out loud.
💔 2024 - The Breaking Point
I faced heartbreak. Betrayal. Deep emotional pain.
And in the middle of it all, I realised: I’m done waiting to be loved, seen, or chosen.
I choose myself.
The pull to return to my own vision became impossible to ignore.
And I knew… it was time.
🔥 2025 - The Rebirth. The Brand. The Beginning Again.
I owned JanThaDoll™.
A brand. A movement. A reclamation.
Not just for beauty, but for discipline, identity, and soft luxury done my way.
This is the season of becoming. And I’m walking into it fully snatched.
This isn’t a comeback. It’s a return to self.
