I’m Not Going to Pretend I Have It All Figured Out

I’m not here to pretend I’ve got it all together.
Because the truth is, I don’t.

Some days I feel stuck.
Like ridiculously stuck.
This week has been one of those weeks.

I’ve got a lot on my plate, and honestly, I don’t always know how I’m going to achieve everything I’m working towards.

In January, I made the decision to bet on myself.
In February, I released my first e-book, Beauty, Body & Bag Elevation.
In April, I launched The Snatched Skin Playbook.
Both were steps towards my bigger vision: to build my digital empire from the ground up.

Along the way, I’ve kept my income flowing while growing my brand, but there are seasons where the balance shifts, and I’m reminded that building something from scratch isn’t always glamorous.

I’ve been putting myself forward on LinkedIn, connecting with potential clients for my creative direction services. Some have been promising, others… not quite aligned. I track my analytics across every platform...celebrating the spikes, learning from the dips, and yes, those dips can test my motivation.

Then there are the quiet moments no one sees… when I’m up late at night, laptop still open, and the “what ifs” creep in. What if I’m not moving fast enough? But even then, I remind myself why I started: to create something that’s mine, that no one can take away from me.

I haven’t hit every target yet, but I’ve kept showing up, posting consistently, growing my community, and building the discipline to create content even when it’s uncomfortable.

Earlier this year, I sent out a pitch deck for Glow Juice™. The responses weren’t what I expected, but that turned out to be a blessing. It pushed me to think bigger.

Now, I’m preparing to debut Glow Juice™ at Notting Hill Carnival, a move that wouldn’t have happened without those early redirections.

And yes, the question crosses my mind sometimes: What if it doesn’t go to plan?

But I stay steadfast.
I believe in God’s timing.
I work towards my goals every single day.
Even in a room full of people, I’ll quietly say a prayer, asking Him to see me through, because my vision is bigger than the current challenges, and my faith is what carries me through the in-between.

The days are moving fast, but I know the day is coming when everything I’ve been building behind the scenes will align in public view.

When doubt creeps in, I catch it.
I flip it.
Because I know this: I didn’t come this far to only come this far.

I might not have it all figured out yet…
But I’m building the life I once dreamed of.
And when the breakthrough comes, it won’t be luck. It’ll be the result of every single day I refused to quit.
